Every candidate image for the library, mapped to its book — with the public source, the licence, and a link to download. Built for an offline bundle: download each file into an images/ folder, then embed it locally with the source kept as a credit link.
A verified PD badge means the file page and licence were click-checked and it is safe to download and redistribute inside the offline bundle. A proposed badge means the subject and a likely public source are identified, but the exact file and its licence still need a click-check before embedding — many link to a category page so you can pick the best resolution. Photographs of recent fossils or museum mounts can carry a separate photographer's copyright even when the specimen is ancient; always prefer the institution's own open-access release.
